Phys Author Rank Algorithm is a website where physicists can check the evolution of
their own scientific rank.
Scientific rank is calculated using the Science Author Rank Algorithm on a weighted author citation network. At the moment, our database is
composed of all 407,236 papers published between 1893 and 2006 in journals of the collection of the
American Physical Society.
The ranking is restricted only to physicists with at least a publication in this database, but our technique is flexible to
any citation database and we are planning to analyze other scientific disciplines with the same method.

many processes at the origin of the scientific importance of authors.
